For the sixth year, Mountain View Pediatric Dentistry will be holding our annual kids carnival on Friday June 6th from 5-8pm. Not only is this a great chance to get together and have fun, but a fundraiser during the carnival will be held to help a young man in need.
This year’s carnival will be fun for the whole family with door prizes, raffles, sno cones, cotton candy, popcorn, pony rides, a bounce house, photo booth, face painting, balloon animals, and a dunk tank where you can dunk your dentist! This is a great opportunity for your kids to get together, have fun, and interact with our staff on a different level. The event will take place in our Pleasant View office’s parking lot, located at 2719 N. Hwy 89. Come down early, the first 100 kids in line will receive a free t-shirt!
While our carnival is all about having fun, the fundraiser held during it takes a very serious tone. On February 17th of this year, Colton Berett woke up with no motor function in his neck and right arm. For him to make it to Insta-Care, he had to have his head held up and supported. He was then sent to Primary Children’s Medical Center, where he was diagnosed with Longitudinal Transverse Myelitis, a neurological disorder affecting the spinal cord. This inflammation left him with no motor function in his extremities, and a weakness in his muscles throughout his entire body.
Despite the challenges he has faced, Colton is positive and motivated to get stronger. He is regaining some of the strength he lost, and even has some movement in one hand. During this year’s carnival, a silent auction will be held to raise money for Colton’s medical needs. Come be a part of helping Colton continue to improve.
The Mountain View patient appreciation carnival is only 2 short days away. Come by for a great time, and to support a great cause. Your children will love the games and prizes this fun family night will bring!
